so you want Raw Footage?

We’re often asked if couples can receive their raw footage, so here’s a quick, honest breakdown to set expectations clearly.

  • We film using professional, high-quality video codecs that many computers cannot open or play without special software.

  • Weddings produce hundreds of short clips (10–60 seconds each), not long continuous recordings unless planned in advance.

  • All footage is shot in LOG color profiles, meaning the video will look very flat and desaturated until professionally color-graded.

  • Camera audio is recorded internally and is not high-quality. Clean audio for speeches is recorded separately and must be synced in post-production.

In short: raw footage is unedited, uncolored, unsynced, and not meant for casual viewing.

If you don’t have a background in video editing, raw footage will be frustrating rather than enjoyable.

We securely store each couple’s footage for up to one year after the event.
You may upgrade or purchase any of these options at any time during that period.

We will always contact you before any footage is deleted.
